Hoops, mono-earrings, chains, chokers… We’re big fans of Annelise Michelson’s strong creations, particularly well-matched to Zadig & Voltaire’s cool-girl aesthetic. For this collaboration, the designer worked on her “Wire” theme, one of her bestsellers : “I adapted it so as to make it more accessible, transforming it into more delicate pieces, while still keeping it a “statement” piece, my signature,” explains Annelise. “These current must-haves blend in perfectly with Zadig & Voltaire’s silhouettes : a choker to wear every day, punk-inspired mini hoops, an oversized single earring, a rock-chick cuff…”

On the catwalk in New York, Bella Hadid (followed by her brother Anwar), Jamie Bochaert, Dilone and the Pavlova sisters wear Annelise’s creation with bravado… even if the quick pace of the show doesn’t really give the viewer much time to admire the craftmanship. “The show is so fast that you barely have time to realise what is happening,” confesses the designer. “The preparation leading up to it as well as the fittings were the most memorable moments for me, as that’s when everything came together! It was super exciting to see my pieces on such strong looks, worn by one beautiful woman after another.”
