What Do you do?

This is my least favorite question to answer, because it’s a bit of a long list.  I make music, I paint, I do creative direction and consulting for brands, I DJ and I edit for a magazine. I basically try anything people want me to do. 

Where do you live?

I live in the East Village in New York City. 

Your fashion icons?

They change all the time ! Lately I have been obsessed with period films. This film “Cousin Rachel” has some incredible hair styles in it, and I rewatched “Funny Girl” recently and there is some incredible style in that film. I think to make things modern you just mix and match all the pleasant images you have in your head. That makes you not a copy but someone unique. 

Your favorite color?

I have a few. I love sea foam green, coral and lavender. 

Your style, night or day?

I think for day it’s normally jeans and whatever I can sit and run around in, and for nighttime it’s basically the same unless I have some sort of event I have to look presentable for, then maybe it’s a suit. 

Three words or a short sentence to describe your style.

I think it’s half little boy/half someone who went into a dressing up box.

Lip balm, and Nicorette (I quit smoking but I’m really addicted to chewinggum now). 

Paper or web addict?

Web for sure. I worked at a sustainable company for so long that I try not to buy anything I will throw away quickly. I only buy paper that I am going to keep.
