How did you get into fashion?
Fashion has always been very interesting to me. Since I was a little girl I have drawn sketches of women wearing clothes and after elementary school it was an easy decision to start at Copenhagen Fashion Design Academy. In fact, I was the youngest member to be admitted at the Academy by that time.
How did you come to work exclusively with the “Keffiyeh” fabric?
I found two scarves in the basement of my parents house and made the very first Shirt-O because I needed something to wear for a night out with my friends. For the coming seasons I will not exclusively work with the Keffiyeh fabric – in the beginning I simply found the fabric very beautiful and it has been amazing to work with. You can expect new exciting designs coming up in early 2016! Wait and see!

Tell us about your studio in Copenhagen.
The studio is located in the heart of Copenhagen – in the old town. It’s hidden away from the big and noisy streets and I love to be in the middle of town but without the feeling of being in a city! The studio is a place where I do most of my work, designing, graphics, drawings etc. At the same time the studio is a place where I can relax and clear my mind.
What is the fashion scene like in Denmark?
Minimalistic and stylish. Though I think we’ve seen many new Danish brands challenge the industry which I think is great for the future development.
