As you all know by now, out latest issue is all about LOVE. So we thought we’d share one of our latest crushes: pre-Raphaelite South-African beauty Julia Campbell-Gillies. In between shoots – we first spotted Julia in our “Pink is the Color of Love” fashion story –  the former Fine Art student, now London-based, is putting together an exhibition of her work AND polishing up her upcoming novel (phew). You’ll find her listening to live jazz or classical music recitals, or strolling about “somewhere [she] can see the sky”.

First crush? Heath Ledger in Knight’s Tale.

First date? Totally unmemorable, probably in a local mall where I grew up in South Africa.

First kiss? Similarly unremarkable, in a cinema, and as gross as everyone warned.
