French photographer Guy Bourdin is one of Please’s lasting influences. We love his surrealistic take on feminine beauty, all in eerie body parts and bright pops of color. So imagine our pleasure when we found out that Parisian studio Les Acacias is devoting a whole new exhibition to the master of fashion photography, who took some of his most famous shots in this very same studio: Guy Bourdin: The Portraits features over 150 photographs, from the famous adverts and editorials to his more personal work, including exclusive Super 8 films, tracing the incredible career of one of fashion’s most celebrated image-makers.
