Our heart rate sped up a little the moment we spotted this Lorenz Baümer jewelry set, shot in Please! Magazine 18 at the Parisian hotel Les Bains last July. At first just a (elegant) squiggle, the gold lines reveal themselves to be intricately crafted heartbeats – we couldn’t chose a better piece for our Jewelry Crush! The American-born, place Vendôme-based jewelry designer is quite a character in the haute joaillerie world, known both for his artistic sensibilities (read all about it on his blog) and for having created the incredible “Ecume de Diamants” tiara Charlene wore to her wedding to Prince Albert of Monaco.
