I particularly enjoyed the Saint Laurent menswear show tonight and this for several reasons : – the location, at Hotel des Invalides was crazy, believe me, this place on a sunday night, with all the private-driver car ballet, this is SOMETHING! – a mastered collection, alternating bad boys silhouettes with teddy jackets, very chic and tailored men with suits from the 50’s and rockers with little bow ties and frilled shirts, a kind of mix between a young Yves Saint Laurent, Jonnhy Cash and Marlon Brando. – a masculine allure spiced up with strass and panthers prints (everything I worship!!!) – a super rock fauna all around, with many boys that you don’t really know if they’re attending or modelling the show… – and as a super bonus, we got Hedi Slimane with a large smile while saluting… So to keep it short, this show just gave me the feeling of a recovered serenity.
